One or Two Day Options

One or Two Day Options ~

A number of requests have come in from families who would love a one or two day per week option.

So, let’s do this and keep it simple.

Our Two Day Adventure

What to Know About the Two Day Schedule

Families enrolled two days per week follow the exact same curriculum as our four day families, just on a more condensed timeline. Here's what that means in practice:

  • Same books & work. Two day families read the same books and complete the same quests, badges, and goals as four day families. The only difference is if your family wants to use the online curriculum instead of Isabel’s homeschool curriculum - there will be an additional charge.

  • Same required reading for parents before our first day.

  • A consistent home schedule matters. Because the workload is the same, two day families will need to keep a steady routine at home to stay on pace.

  • Come in on Mondays & Tuesdays. They’ll come in at the same time and leave at the same time as everyone else.

  • Field trips are included for two day families as well.

  • Four-day registrants take priority. When space is limited, four day families are given first priority in registration.

We’ll also send home calendars and/or information each week so you can stay on track with us!

Build & Blow Up Fridays

Our One Day Program:

Three hours. One big build. Every other Friday.

Build & Blow Up Fridays: What to Know

Every other Friday, our village gathers and we open the gate to homeschoolers who want to join us for three hours of hands-on building. Here's what you need to know before signing up.

  • Parents stay by default. Since this is a hands-on, high-energy program, parents are expected to stay for the full session… unless the drop-off requirements below are met.

  • Drop-off is available for prepared families. If a parent has read both Hunt, Gather, Parent and The Secrets of Happy Families, they're eligible for drop-off.

  • The first session is always a stay. Even for eligible families, the parent must stay for their child's very first Build & Blow Up Friday.

  • Drop-off begins after a successful first visit. If the child does well and behaves well during that first session, drop-off is approved going forward.

  • Cost ranges from $40–$70 per session, depending on the materials and complexity of that Friday's build.

  • A minimum of five children is required for each session to run. If fewer than five sign up, the session will be cancelled and families will be fully refunded.
